We remember Socorro for things; this lovely church (unlocked) and the supernaturally hot chilies they serve around town, even with breakfast. This is the town where we learned to say "Christmas" when we wanted both red and green chilies. These were so hot and disturbing we called them "Halloween". It's a night shot because we were, how can say this delicately, unable to sleep.
